1. REGISTRATION & OCCUPANCY

All guests must be properly registered and may be required to present valid identification.

Rooms must not exceed the confirmed occupancy without Resort approval. Unauthorised additional guests may be charged a minimum of PHP 1000 per adult and PHP 500 for children (up to the age of 13).

Persons under 18 may not stay without an accompanying parent, guardian or appropriately authorised responsible adult.

2. RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation.

The deposit is non-refundable unless written cancellation is received at least 72 hours before arrival. Where a refund is approved, a PHP 410 administrative processing fee will be deducted.

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, cancellations resulting from weather, illness, emergencies or circumstances outside the Resort’s control remain subject to the same cancellation policy.

Food, beverages, mini-chiller items, activities and other additional services are charged separately unless expressly included in the booking.

3. PAYMENT

All outstanding balances and additional charges must be settled when requested and no later than check-out.

Accepted payment methods include cash, GCash, Tab electronic payment, valid debit or credit cards, PayPal or other payment methods expressly accepted by the Resort. Cheques are not accepted unless expressly authorised by management.

4. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Standard check-in is approximately 2:00 PM, subject to room availability.

Check-out is 12:00 noon.

Late check-out is charged at PHP 569 per hour for the first six hours. Beyond six hours, one additional day’s accommodation may be charged.

Guests expecting to arrive after 10:00 PM should notify the Resort.

5. PETS

The Resort is pet-friendly and ordinarily charges no additional pet accommodation fee. Pets must have a current rabies vaccination, with proof provided before arrival.

A maximum of two pets per room/booking is permitted unless management approves otherwise. Keeping your pets / dogs in cages is strictly prohibited.

Owners are responsible for their pets’ supervision, behaviour and any damage or excessive cleaning caused.

6. KEYS, PROPERTY & DAMAGE

Lost room keys are charged at PHP 1500 each.

Guests are responsible for damage, breakages, missing Resort property or excessive cleaning caused deliberately or negligently by themselves, members of their party, visitors, minors or permitted pets.

A security deposit of PHP 1000 per room will be required upon check-in, and will be refunded upon check-out, inspections for legitimate charges or outstanding liabilities will be conducted by our housekeeping department / management / front desk officers.

7. PERSONAL BELONGINGS & PARKING

Guests are responsible for appropriately securing their luggage, valuables and personal belongings.

Vehicles and their contents are parked at the owner’s risk. CCTV operates in selected Resort areas for safety and security.

To the extent permitted by law, the Resort is not responsible for loss, theft or damage arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

8. SMOKING & PROHIBITED ITEMS

Guest rooms, gym, spa and steam room/sauna are strictly non-smoking.

Evidence of smoking in prohibited indoor areas may result in a PHP 10,000 cleaning and remediation charge.

Unauthorised firearms, weapons, gas cylinders, cooking equipment, rice cookers, microwaves, flammable fuels and other hazardous materials are prohibited.

9. CHILDREN & QUIET HOURS

Children must be appropriately supervised throughout the Resort and must never be left unattended in or around the swimming pool or other water facilities.

Running or disruptive play is not permitted in the restaurant or bar.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. Guests must avoid excessive noise or behaviour that unreasonably disturbs others.

10. SWIMMING POOL, JACUZZI & STEAM ROOM

The Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi and Steam Room are open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.

Use outside these hours is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised by management.

Children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times in and around water facilities.

Guests must comply with displayed safety notices and reasonable instructions from Resort personnel.

11. GYM & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

Use of the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, gym and other recreational facilities involves ordinary and inherent risks, including slips, falls, water-related risks, physical exertion and heat.

Guests use these facilities voluntarily, must exercise reasonable care and must immediately report damaged or unsafe equipment.

Our gym is open 24 hours a day!

Guests are responsible for considering whether they are physically capable of safely using a particular facility.

12. WI-FI

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available to staying guests, subject to network availability.

Illegal activity, network abuse and unauthorised downloading are prohibited. The Resort may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect its network or comply with legal requirements.

13. GUEST CONDUCT & MANAGEMENT RIGHTS

Guests must comply with Resort rules, safety instructions and applicable laws.

Serious or repeated misconduct, non-payment, dangerous behaviour or substantial breach of these Terms may result in refusal of service or termination of the stay.

Where a guest refuses a lawful request to leave, management may seek assistance from Resort security or the appropriate authorities.

14. ACCIDENTS, MEDICAL ASSISTANCE & EMERGENCIES

Guests should immediately report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions.

Where reasonably necessary, Resort personnel may contact emergency services or assist with arranging medical treatment or transportation.

External medical, ambulance, hospital and transportation expenses remain the guest’s responsibility unless otherwise required by law.

15. ASSUMPTION OF INHERENT RISK & LIABILITY

Guests acknowledge that staying at a beach/seafront resort and voluntarily using swimming, fitness, steam-room, Jacuzzi and recreational facilities involves certain ordinary and inherent risks.

Guests agree to exercise reasonable care and voluntarily accept those inherent risks to the extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Philip Ann Resort, its owners, management, employees and authorised representatives will not be liable for injury, loss or damage arising solely from inherent risks voluntarily accepted by the guest or from circumstances outside the Resort’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

16. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY

Guests are responsible for their own conduct and, where applicable, the conduct and supervision of members of their booking party, minors, visitors and permitted pets.

Guests must take reasonable care of Resort property and must promptly report damage, accidents, hazards or safety concerns.

17. COMPLAINTS

Any complaint or problem should be reported to Resort management or to our company email philipannresort@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible so that the Resort has an opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, resolve the matter during the guest’s stay.

18. GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Resort may temporarily restrict or close facilities for safety, maintenance, weather or operational reasons.

These Terms may be updated where reasonably necessary for operational, safety or legal requirements.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Nothing in these Terms overrides rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

GUEST ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & WAIVER

I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to The Philip Ann Resort Terms & Conditions, House Rules and Guest Waiver.

I understand that use of the Resort’s swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, gym and other recreational facilities is voluntary and may involve ordinary and inherent risks.

I agree to follow all Resort safety rules and understand that the Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi and Steam Room may only be used between 8:00 AM & 10:00 PM, unless otherwise authorised by management.

I accept responsibility for appropriately supervising any minor under my care and understand that children must not be left unattended in or around the swimming pool or other water facilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with my stay and use of Resort facilities.

I understand that this acknowledgement does not waive any right or liability that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
